Jessica is a student at Old Dominion University getting her Masters in Lifespan and Digital Communication. She has a Bachelors in Communication with a minor in studio art as well. Jessica has recently joined PPCLC as our administrative assistant and is excited to be on board!
Tevin is a graduate student at Old Dominion University pursuing a Master's Degree in applied Sociology. This is the second time Tevin has worked with PPCLC and he is excited to keep working with PPCLC! It is his goal to give our students a positive image of a young black male in today's society, as well as provide confidence and high self-esteem to the students. The most satisfying aspect of this program to him is watching the children grow and to see their faces light up when completing one of their art assignments. Tevin truly believes if a person can sit down and complete a piece of art, then they possess the tools to tackle most challenges in life. This is what he sees as the mission; to show them that they can tackle any challenge life has to throw at them.
